Vegetable achards are served as hors d'oeuvre or as side dish. You can easily keep them for about ten days in the fridge.
haricots verts 50g
onion 1 big
garlic 2 cloves
green piments 2
grains de mustard 1/2 tsp
safran 1/2 cąc
oil, vineger, salt
Recipe of vegetable Achards :
Cut the cabbage leaves into thin strips, peel off and mince the carrots, and the green beans,
vider les piments de leurs graines and cut them into 4, separate the cauliflower in small bouquets,
Pour all the vegetables 1 min in boiling water and drain,
In a frying pan heat the oil and fry the minced onion till golden brown
Add garlic, ginger and mustard grains crushed together, then add salt and saffron,
Stir and add the vegetables. Brown 2 min and stir without crushing.
Let cool and add a table spoon of vineger.
