France easy and original
1 ready-made pate sablée (sandy shortbread dough)
cinnamon powder 2 tbsp
ginger powder 2 tbsp
Rhubarb 12 to 20 stems (according to the size)
suggar 2 tbsp
butter 50g (or vegetal oil)
Recipe of easy rhubarb pie :
Preheat the oven Th 5 (medium) and cook the pastry, only for 10 min.
Wash, peel and cut the rhubarbs into dices.
Boil it with 1 tbsp suggar then drain and garnish on the bottom of the pate sablée.
Mix the melted butter with the rest of suggar + cinnamon + ginger and pour this mixture on the rhubarb dices.
Heat the pie in the hot oven, for 20 minutes this time.
