IngrÚdients :
1 sweet shortcrust pastry
16 quetsches
1/2 liter milk
1 vanilla pod (or vanilla extract)
5 egg yolks
100g sugar
60g ma´zena (cornstarch)
120g almond powder

Recipe of Quetschekuchen :
Heat the milk with the vanilla.
mix the egg yolks with the sugar in a bowl.
Add ma´zena progressively and then the almond powder.
Stir a small amount of milk on the preparation and mix.
Pour the mixture back in the milk pan.

Mix over low heat until the cream thickens.
Let cool at room temperature.
Lay out the shortcrust pastry in the mould and prick it with a fork.
Add the amandine cream on it.
Wash the quetsches and cut them in two and dispose them on the top of the amandine cream.
Put in a preheated oven 200░C for about 40 mn.
