Brazil Kind of brazilian tapioca buns with cheese. Here we use parmesan/mozzarella and tapioca flour instead of "meia cura" brazilian cheese and cassava starch.
Ingredients : tapioca flour 250g milk 120 ml oil 45 ml water 60 ml one egg parmesan 55g mozzarella 55g salt 1 tsp
Recipe of pćo de queijo : Preheat the oven at 200°C. Let boil the (milk/water/oil) mix and pour it on the tapioca flour, mixing with an elctric whisk. Stir in the egg and cheeses, while whisking to obtain a smooth and sticky texture. Cover an ovenproof dish with baking paper and deposit on it small amounts of paste (one spoon). Be sure you leave enough distance between 2 amounts for the pćos can swell in the oven without sticking together. Put in the hot oven (200°C) for 15 to 20 min, serve warm or hot.
